Ok. So here we go! I attended the Mobile, Alabama Animeday. It was an enjoyable experience. I can say that I enjoyed myself although I didn't know much about anime, my children taught me a great deal. Now growing up cartoons are so different then today. Things are more graphic. So here is what I got out it.
Quality time with my Kids. I always love being able to spend time with my children. I know in some years they will go off and have their own family. I want them to remember the time we spent together.
Education on a different culture. I think culture as practices and acts that one group can relate. It had not been a surprise the amount of people from all walks of life they came together to enjoy the atmosphere.
Getting back to Normalcy. Covid has this world on lock down. We don't go out and interact anymore. This has lead to depression and hopelessness in our youth. Human interaction is the most important part of our life.
So although I didn't know much about anime, I knew that I enjoyed being there in the moment. #liveinthemoment
